2016 Twenty-Seventh Annual Symposium on Health Care Services in New York: Research and Practice

On November 15, GNYHA and the United Hospital Fund held the 27th Annual Symposium on Health Care: Research and Practice in collaboration with major health services organizations in the metropolitan New York region. The Symposium is held each year to bring together providers, policymakers, and researchers to discuss innovative and emerging work that will have an impact on the delivery of care and the promotion of health in the New York region.

The Symposium also included a panel session with John D. Bennet, MD, FACC, FACP, President and Chief Executive Officer of CDPHP; Kristopher L. Smith, MD, Senior Vice President in the Office of Population Health Management at Northwell Health and Vice President and Medical Director of Northwell Health Solutions; and Hal Teitelbaum, MD, JD, MBA, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Run Healthcare; discussing how their organizations are using value-based payment programs to support delivery system transformation.
